Policy & Rules
Guideline of Standards for Coaches
As coaches within our organization, we hold ourselves to high standards. We are expected to:- Act as positive role models for our players, demonstrating sportsmanship, integrity, and respect at all times.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to players, fostering their development both on and off the field.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and league officials regarding schedules, expectations, and any concerns that may arise.
- Continuously strive to improve our coaching skills and knowledge of the game.
- Uphold the values and mission of the Jewish Youth Sports Organization in all our actions and decisions.
Expectations of Our Players
Players participating in our programs are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Always do your best on and off the field, demonstrating commitment, effort, and a positive attitude.
2. Notify the head coach of any absences or late arrivals at least 24 hours prior to scheduled training sessions or games.
3. Exhibit appropriate behavior and language, showing respect towards teammates, coaches, opponents, and referees. Inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the program without refund.
4. Respect the game, teammates, coaches, opponents, and referee decisions regardless of game outcomes.
Parental Code of Conduct
Parents are integral to the success of our organization. We expect parents to:
- Support their child's participation in a positive and encouraging manner.
- Refrain from invasive or harassing behavior towards coaches or league coordinators.
- Maintain respectful communication with coaches and league officials, addressing any concerns through appropriate channels.
- Understand that a breach of conduct may result in the removal of the child from the program without refund.
Refund Policy
Once enrolled in our program, refunds are not available. However, if cancellation occurs before the start of the season, a credit will be issued for future use within the organization. Once the season commences, refunds or credits will not be provided.
Bullying Policy
Bullying will not be tolerated within our organization. Any instances of bullying will result in immediate removal from the program without refund. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
